This is an interdisciplinary program open to students from all majors at THU. Students from THU will also receive one selective credit units for successfully completing this program. Limited number of seats are also available to students from outside THU. All students need to apply to this program. Application form is attached.

Course Objectives:

• Learn about changes in education system and new skills required to build a successful career in the Global Digital Economy. 

• Latest Advances in Digital Technologies

• Major Sectors of Economy—Opportunities & Challenges

• Learn about Entrepreneurship & building Innovative Solutions

• Connect with Industry leaders/ internship opportunities

为培养创新创业人才，近期清华大学将开办海外学者短期课程“Innovation & Entrepreneurship”（创新创业发展课程），课程云集来自世界各地不同领域的领军人物，展开物联网、工业大数据、智慧城市、创新医疗、教育创业、农业创新等多个领域的深入交流，研究多个行业的具体案例，探讨“数码革命”如何转变全球经济的主要行业。课程将招收100名学员，包括高年级本科生、硕士生、博士生，本校学生完成课程后将获得1个选修课学分，外校同学希望旁听也可以通过链接报名。

教学目标：

• 了解教育体系的变化以及在全球数字经济中取得成功所需的技能。

• 数字技术的最新进展

• 如何在新的数字全球经济中建立成功的事业

• 了解创业和建立创新解决方案

课程时间：

Course Timelines:

2019年9月9日~2019年9月20日，每天2学时，包含2小时授课，授课期间将邀请国内外相关领域专家进行演讲。

Course Duration: 2 Weeks/ 10 classes/ 2 hrs each class, Sep. 9—Sep. 20, 2019. Course lectures will include several invited speakers from key industry and related subjects

评定方式：

Performance Evaluation: 

在课程中开展分组练习并进行小组报告，每位学生最终提交一份报告，完成课程后可获1学分。

Group exercise, classroom presentation and an individual final report (one-selective-credit course)

证书：

Course Certification: 

完成课程的学生将获得一份证书。

After successful completion of the program students (including students from other universities)will be awarded a formal Certificate.
